Who We Are
Centre de Verre was founded in 1995 as a kiln distributorship and was expanded to include other equipment used for glass art, including grinders, sanders and polishers. In 2002, Centre de Verre became a full service glass fusing supplier.
In 2005, Tom and Anne Sheehan bought Centre de Verre. The move was the culmination of a search for a challenging small business to replace Tom’s manufacturing engineering job. The complexity of the business combined with the creativity and technical aspects of glass work made the business a perfect opportunity. Tom quickly became a genuine glass fanatic with a rich technical background. Tom’s people skills are apparent to anyone dealing with Centre de Verre.

What We Sell
Centre de Verre provides all of the glass fusing and glass slumping materials and tools you could possibly need. We carry a large selection of Bullseye and Uroboros “COE 90” fusible glass as well as CBS Dichroic and other dichroic glass supplies. We sell glass kilns from Jen Ken, Olympic, Paragon, Skutt and Glass Glow, and offer cold finishing equipment from ASW Diamond, Glastar and Covington Engineering.
We offer fusible glass in pieces as small as 8” x 10”, dichroic glass as small as 2” x 4” and Bullseye frit in ¼ lb increments.

Have a question? Centre de Verre is an excellent source for technical glasswork information. We can help you figure out why your project did not come out right, why your kiln is acting funny (or acting NOT funny!) or help you program your kiln’s controller. If you’re looking for a kiln, we can help you figure out what kiln is best for your specific needs.
Centre DeVere offers comprehensive Basic Glass Fusing Workshops for students with little or no experience. After taking our class, you will be able to make projects on your own, know how to program your kiln and what temperatures to use, and if you have any questions after the class, just give us a call.
